Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches

The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a statewide, not-for-profit organization whose vision is to create men and women who are able to face the future with a sense of direction, ability, and hope. For over 50 years, the Youth Ranches has helped over 100,000 boys and girls with five locations spread across Florida.

The Youth Ranches recently redesigned their website using the Joomla! Content Management System. However, the personnel responsible for the redesign was lost shortly after, leaving the organization with a less than impressive site, lacking key functionality, and without anyone on staff with the training to make changes.

The Youth Ranches needed a refreshed, professional design that showcased the work they do with young people. They also needed to expand their "website" to a "web presence" with better integration between youtube and facebook. The new site also needed a better system for accepting online donations.

The solution is a great looking new site that makes sharing articles on facebook easy. It also features a new donation system that allows for greater flexibility in accepting recurring online donations in a secure environment.
